Prospects of rains in Tamil Nadu

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of heavy rain in few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The cyclonic format which had stabilised in the upper layers of the atmosphere, hence, heavy rains are expected in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
Chennai city will remain cloudy. It may rains in the evening or night.
