Kotak Mahindra to give out slashed rate debit cards for new customers

On Tuesday, Private Sector Kotak Mahindra Bank has said that all customers who open a zero balance account with the bank will be given with debit cards at special price of Rs 99. This slashed rate offer will be present till 15th September.
Generally, the annual fee charged for 811 account holders is Rs 299 (811 account is zero balance account).
Inspired by the demonetization move made on 8th November 2016, the name 811 is given. With this, customers can easily open a zero balance account through Kotak Mahindra mobile app.
As a move to mark the 70th anniversary of Indian independence, all customers who open the 811 account between 8th August 2017 and 15th September 2017 shall avail the special edition of debit card, a bank statement reads.
