Reliance Jio unveils free of cost JioPhone

Reliance Jio has unveiled its much-awaited 4G feature phone for Rs Zero at the Reliance`s 40th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Mumbai.
However, customers will have to pay Rs 1,500 as security deposit, which will be refunded after 3 years
The JioPhone comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA display, FM radio, torch light, headphone jack, SD card slot & alphanumeric keyboard. The phone will support digital payment via NFC & all Jio apps. Also supports 22 major Indian languages.
New data plans also announced under Dhan Dhana Dhan offer for Jiophone customers for Rs 153 per month. Under the plan, users will get free voice calls and SMS, unlimited data & free subscription to all Jio apps.
The phone will be available for pre-booking from Aug 24.
