Travel allowance of Rs 15,750 for the Central Government Employees

The notification of 7th pay commission by the government passed an important imposition of paying central government employees the transport allowance of Rs.15,750 in their July salaries. It covers the expenditure of transportation costs between the residence and the duty place.
The rates in accordance with the government allowance devised by the government notification are as follows:
Officers from the Pay level 14 and other higher levels who have the authority to use the official car will have the option to avail themselves of the existing facility and another option of drawing the allowance of Rs.15,750 plus DA per month.
Employees who are differently able will be continued to pay at a double rate as always subjected to a minimum of Rs.2,250 plus DA.
Hyderabad, Delhi, Bengaluru, Greater Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Surat, Nagpur, Pune, Jaipur, Lucknow, Kanpur, Patna, Kochi, Kozhikode, Indore, Coimbatore and Ghaziabad are the cities where the higher rate of Transport Allowance are applicable.
