Prospects of rain with thunder in Tamil Nadu

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of rain with thunder in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the next 24 hours.
An official from the Chennai Meteorological Centre explained that due to the recent formation of a thermal convection phenomenon, there are prospects of rain with thunder in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
Chennai Metro will remain cloudy. It may rain with thunder in 1 or 2 places.
