Preparation of Aadhar cards for children below 5 years

The important activity of taking the photographs of children below 5 years of age and collecting their other details is under progress in full swing.
This activity is also in progress in Chennai district. The details regarding the venue for taking a photo will be informed through loudspeakers by the respective Taluk officer, Revenue inspectors, and Anganwadi staff.
Once the announcement is made, the activity of taking photos of children below 5 years of age will commence in the Anganwadi centres. The parents will have to bring in proofs of the date of birth, any one of - family card, passport, ID card issued for state medical insurance coverage, Canteen ID card issued for army personnel, any other document approved by the central/state government as identity - and the Aadhar cards of the parents.
