Nilavembu (Kalmegh) tastes bitter but cures diabetes

Kalmegh (Medicinal name - Andrographis paniculata - another name - kalmegh) not only control is an all-purpose medicine. It may be recalled in the recent past when there was a dengue epidemic in Tamil and, the state government made the official recommendation for nilavembu as the best medicine.

It controls the sugar level. It also offers improvement in physical strength, removal of intestinal worms/insects, and is the right medicine for the dengue fever or swine fever.

Take 2 glasses of water. Add 10-15 grams of nilavembu. (Exceeding this might be an overdose). Add the quantity considering the person’s age or physical condition. Take precaution to avoid over dosage. 10-15 grams is ideal for all age-groups.

Check every week for sugar. Accordingly, the dosage may be increased or decreased.However, do remember it is best not to exceed 15 grams especially while taking this on an empty stomach.

It is a general phenomenon whatever items is good and sweet for our health, generally taste bitter for the tongue. Nilavembu also is not an exception to this phenomenon.

Taking nilavembu concoction mixed with honey  will make it sweet. This will also enhance the medicinal property of nilavembu. However, it is well known that there many duplicate products of honey sold in the market.

Buy it from a reliable shop. There may be some doubts as to taking nilavembu with honey will really cure diabetes. However, there is no need to doubt. Honey cannot neutralize or remove or weaken the medicinal property of nilavembu. By taking with honey, the treatment may be required for a few more days. Do not mind the bitter taste and gulp this concoction. It is not that difficult to drink 30-50 ml of nilavembu concoction.It may difficult during the 30 days – but, you will be cured of diabetes on the 31st day.
