Southern Railways: Changes in Suburban Train Timings - 2017

Southern Railway has released its Chennai Division’s suburban train timetable. The new time table will take effect from January 12, The Southern Railway would be operating eight passenger specials as follows:
Avadi to Moore Market Complex would be departing at 3.50 a.m., MMC to Avadi at 7.20 a.m., Chennai Beach to Pattabiram at 7.55 a.m., Chennai Beach to Avadi at 10.30 a.m., Avadi to Chennai Beach at 1.30 p.m., MMC to Avadi at 2.05 p.m., Avadi to MMC at 2.50 p.m. and MMC to Chennai Beach at 3.35 p.m.
New stoppages on the MMC-Tiruvallur and Chengalpet-Tambaram-Chennai Beach routes have been introduced, wherein fast local from Arakkonam to MMC and Tiruvallur to MMC would stop at Veppampattu and the Thirumalpur-Chennai Beach fast local would stop at Chromepet. As per the new time-table, several trains have been advanced by five minutes.
