After the launch of Lenovo’s P2 smartphone at the IFA event in 2016, the device has been made available in other regions gradually. Lenovo published a teaser poster on their Twitter account, indicating their plans on introducing the smartphone in India on Wednesday, January 11.
The smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display and 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 processor. The device comes in memory options of 3GB or 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB of in-built storage. The 64GB variant of the smartphone is unfortunately only limited to the Chinese market as of now. The Lenovo P2 packs a 13MP rear camera with a Sony IMX258 sensor along with a 5MP front camera. The smartphone is powered by a 5,100mAh battery with fast charging capabilities and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. On the connectivity front, the device is equipped with a microSD card, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1 and FM radio. Lenovo is expected to make the smartphone available in two colour options - Champagne Gold and Graphite Grey.
