Prospects of Jio 4G Concessional Offer to be extended till March 2017

The Jio SIM launched recently by Reliance Head Mukesh Ambani, has created a great revolution in the sphere of telecommunication.
Jio offered a lot of attractive concessions such as free calls throughout the country for 3 months, 25 percent charges for students for internet facility, the price of 1 GB 4G data being fixed at Rs. 50/- and no roaming charges.
This wave of concessional offer greatly upset the competitors in the business – Airtel, Idea, and Vodafone.They appealed against this proposal/ announcements by Jio.
TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) enquired about this last week. TRAI declared that Jio’s offer for free voice calls would be valid only up to 3rd December.
In this scenario, information is gathered that Jio. In an effort to increase its customers base, has made a decision to extend this offer till March 2017.
As TRAI had already announced that the free voice call offer would be valid only for 3 months, it is understood that Reliance proposes to change the name of the offer as Welcome Offer and Jio’s data services may be fixed at Rs. 130/- - Rs. 140/- per GB.
