Rs.2000 notes to get introduced soon

Until now, the maximum valued currency in India is Rs 1000. Now, the Reserve Bank of India is set to introduce a Rs 2,000 note very soon. Necessary printing works are currently on the go. As the printing works for these Rs 2000 rupee notes have got over, the RBI is likely to roll out the new notes in a few weeks from now.
Aiming to cater to the increasing need for Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes is increasing, and to reduce black money, the government is launching Rs 2000 notes. Following this, the RBI will also freeze using Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes. However, the RBI has so far not made any announcement in this regard.
