Railways to release the time table today

Every year the Railways will print the time table during the months of January and July and release it. There will be some changes in the train timings, new train timings and additional stoppages of trains. This will be incorporated in the latest time table. This year during the month of July it was announced that the existing time table has being extended upto the month of September.
At this juncture, Southern Railways will be releasing the newly updated time table today. Chennai to Kanyakumari section has been electrified; many of the routes have been doubled. Because of this, the trains are reaching southern destinations earlier than the specified time. The trains from Chennai to southern destinations will reach earlier by 30 to 45 minutes.
