New Personal Identity cards for the differently-abled persons

In order to facilitate the differently-abled persons to avail the concession on Rail Tickets, the Southern Railway has announced a new ID card to be issued to them.
They have carried out some changes in the earlier ID card issued and are set to introduce new ID cards.
With this new card, differently-abled persons can avail the concession even while booking rail tickets online.
Several differently-abled persons had already applied forgetting the new ID cards.
Information was gathered that around 235 new ID cards already.
Southern Railway has announced that the persons who applied from Tambaram, Chenglepet, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, and Arkonam can get the new ID cards from the respective Railway Station Masters.
