Counselling for BDS courses under government quota is underway

Counselling for the vacant BDS seats in private dental colleges under government quota is taking place now.
Counselling for the MBBS and BDS courses in government and private medical colleges took place in 2 phases and has been completed. At the end of the second phase of counselling there were 5 MBBS seats in government medical colleges, 16 BDS seats in Chennai government dental college and 330 MBBS seats under government quota in private medical colleges.
At this juncture, in order to fill up these vacancies, a special counselling in continuation of the second phase of counselling was held yesterday at Omandurar Tamil Nadu Government Multi-Super-Specialty Hospital. The eligible candidates were given admission cards. There are nearly 400 BDS seats under government quota in the self financing dental colleges. The counselling for these is taking place now.
