After My Stamp, now buy My Cancellation letter covers

The Department of Posts has not introduced a service called My Cancellation that allows customers to get a postal seal with a specific message for a specific occasion, along with a personalised My Stamp. My Stamp allows the customer`s images to be printed on it.
The idea was born when a philatelist recently ordered My Stamps worth Rs. 1 lakh with a betrothed couple`s pictures printed on them.
Says a senior Post official, We decided to offer the personalised cancellation cover as people will cherish the covers. As it is a special facility, My Cancellation will be available only for those who order a minimum of 100 sheets of My Stamp on the same theme. My Cancellation facility will be offered for Rs. 1,500. We plan to spread awareness among school children about My Stamp, My Cancellation and philatelic deposits. We will also hold special camps for the children to own stamps.
