Dont fall for fraudulent investment schemes, SEBI

SEBI has warned the public not to get attracted towards investment schemes that claim to reap you with more profit for your investments. In a financial education awareness meeting held in Ahmadabad, it was said that nobody can fetch huge profits in a very short time span.
Speaking at the meet, Sinha, the chairman of SEBI said there are fraudulent activities taking place everywhere despite the awareness created by several organizations and bodies everywhere. Investors are requested to be even more cautious with advertisements made stating about unbelievably huge profits, he added. He also pointed that many such frauds who cheated people are behind the bars now.
