Healthy Food Recipes - Radish & Coconut Curry

Ingredients

1. Radish – ¼ kg
2. Coconut grated – 2 tbsp.
3. Mustard Seeds – ½ tsp
4. Urad dal – 1 tsp
5. Red chilli – 2 nos.
6. Asafoetida – a pinch
7. Curry Leaves – a few
8. Curd – 1 cup
9. Salt – as needed
10. Cooking oil – 1 tbsp.

Method to Prepare:

1. Wash the radish thoroughly and peel of its skin. Grate it and keep aside.



2. Take a cup of water add 3 tbsp butter milk and required salt to it. Then add the grated radish to it and keep it aside for about 5 minutes.
3. Then drain grated radish completely and collect it in a bowl.
4. Heat the pan with a spoon of oil and add mustard seeds, Urad dal, red chilli, and curry leaves. Once it splitters, add the drained grated radish and salt to it


5. Mix the ingredients well and  close the pan with a lid. Cook the dish in low flame.



6. Once the radish gets cooked well, add the grated coconut and stir well.



7. This is the apt dish for those who doesn’t like the garlic ginger flavour.



8. Hot ‘Mullangi Curry’ is ready!
