Method of getting education loan for students on counselling!!

Several banks have set up their counters in the Anna University Complex to extend immediate help in getting education loans to the students who come to attend counselling sessions.
Some banks directly give the loan agreement forms. Some other banks suggest the students to take the agreement forms from their branches.
Students will have to show the seat reservation confirmation letter released by Anna University at the bank counter in the University complex. After checking, the bank officials will give the agreement form. Some banks give the agreement from even without showing the admission order.
Students will have to take this form to the nearest branch of the bank.

Proofs to be given while applying for education loan from the bank:
· The letter/form given by the bank in the Anna University complex
· Mark sheets of 10th Standard & 12th Standard
· Income certificate
· Aadhar card or PAN card
· Admission letter released by the college
· Details of fees given by the college
· Identity proof
· Residence proof
Education Loan will be arranged after verification of the above proofs
After completing the course, the student will have start paying the loan in installments either a break of 1 year or 6 months after getting a job, whichever is less.
There is no need to pay any amount during the study period. However, some concession in the interest rate is given for the students who opt for paying the interest for the loan during the study period.
The details of the pay-back terms for the loan and the concession for paying interest during the stud period for all loans under Rs. 4 Lakhs are all given by the leaflets given by the banks in the Anna University complex.
