Papanasam to hit the screens on 17th July

After Uthama Villain, Kamal Haasan starrer Papanasam is ready for release. The film will be released on 17th July. The recently released Uthama Villain did not do well at the box office. Now Kamal definitely needs a success. Papanasam is the remake of the super hit Malayalam film Drishyam which had Malayalam superstar Mohanlal in the lead role. Kamal Haasan has donned the role donned by Mohanlal while Gouthami has donned the role of Meena. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, who helmed the original, Papanasam is about a father’s plight to save his family. Gibran has composed the music. The shooting of the film has been completed three months back.
