Factors to be considered before selecting a hostel!

When you are planning to join a hostel, please check whether you have any known friends/acquaintances there. If available, it is well & good. Otherwise, please move with some of the hostel residents and make friends with them. This would be extremely helpful to your security as well as time-pass.
Some people stay in hostels with a plan to steal things including articles and money. Please be extra careful with such type of people who seem intent on taking whatever is available. Keep a watch on all your belongings. Do not share all your personal & financial details with anyone.
If you are a woman, do not carry too much personal jewellery. Keep only the minimum essential items. Ensure that you do not take any high-priced articles. Get into the habit of locking your things before leaving the hostel for your daily work/study.
