Coast Guard (monitors the coasts of India for protection & security) is set to select graduates for the post of Assistant Commandants.
Graduates in any subject can apply. They should have procured minimum 60% in the degree course and 60% in +2 with Science & Chemistry.
A concession of 5 marks is given to candidates belonging to SC/ST, those who have ‘A” grade in NCC, and sportspersons with national records
Candidates should have born between 1st September, 1990 & 30th September, 1994. SC/ST & OBC candidates will be given age relaxation as per central government rules.
The most important condition is that the candidate should not be married.
Final year graduate students cannot apply.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the 1st stage exam, Psychology Test, Group Discussion, and then personal interview.

Hall ticket for the 1st stage examination can be downloaded from the internet between 5th April & 16th April.
Selected candidates will be given training and appointed as Assistant Commandants after the training. This carries the scope for promotion to Deputy Commandant, Commandant, UIG, IG, and Additional Director General, .
