No charges for plan approval for construction of houses!

When the plot owners decide to construct a house and apply to the Tamil Nadu Housing Development Board , Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board, they will help in rendering the necessary infrastructure like approach road, etc.
The charges for extending this services is paid by the state government departments. Hence, there is no necessity for the applicant to pay for these charges to the corporation..
Chennai mayor informed while answering questions in the legislative assembly that approval can be given for construction under 860 sq ft subject to existing rules & regulations.
