Continuous sitting for long stretches can cause diabetics and heart disease!

A medical research centre in Canada conducted a recent research.

The research established that people who sit continuously in one session for long hours are likely to be affected by diabetics and heart diseases.

The leader of the research team, Mr. David Altar informed that most of the day-time, especially the noon –sessions is spent in front of the computer or television.  These people will find it difficult to avoid the risk of diabetics, cancer, and heart diseases even if they take up doing regular physical exercises.

Generally, people who don’t do physical  exercises or those who do only mild physical exercise are more likely to be affected with heart-related diseases.

The people who undertake regular long physical exercises are less likely to be affected by heart-related diseases.

Further research is requires to establish the extent of physical exercises required for the people who sit continuously for long durations in order to prevent heart-related diseases.

However, it is best advisable to avoid sitting at a stretch for long duration!
