Tirupathi Temple: VIP Darshan cancelled tonight (Thursday, 29th January)!

Traditionally, VIP Break Darshan is scheduled at the Lord Srinivasa Temple at Tirupathi after the sacred flower jacket adornment of the Lord every Thursday.
Devotees who turn up on Thursday nights stay back and turn up again for VIP Darshan the next day (Friday) morning. This puts the other devotees into hardship for Darshan.
Hence, TTD (Thirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam) has decided to cancel the VIP Darshan programme on Thursday nights.
This is being implemented from today (Thursday, 29th January).
As the VIP Darshan of 2 hours’ duration stands cancelled, other devotees will benefit out of this 2 hours’ wait.
TTD Officials inform that following the cancellation of VIP Darshan, it can be expected that around 10000 Dharma Darshan devotees can have Drashan during these 2 hours.
The crowd level of devotees was rather less yesterday (Wednesday, 28th January). Dharma Darshan Devotees had Darshan within 6 hours at the sanctorum.
Devotees who came by foot had Darshan within 2 hours.
Devotees with Rs. 300/- ticket had Darshan within 1 hour.
Even, accommodation for lodging was available easily.
