Music contest for differently-abled

Rotary Club of Madras Coromandel is conducting the second edition of `Parallel Music Fest` exclusively for the differently-abled musicians at Youth Hostel, Indira Nagar, Adyar on 30 November, from 9.30 am.
The competition is open for contestants in the age group 13-25 years. The contestants may be from school, college, employed, unemployed, drop-out or pursuing music privately.
The competitions will be in the following categories: Classical Carnatic Vocal, Classical Carnatic Instrumental, Light Music Vocal and Light Music Instrumental. There will be cash and other prizes for the winners and runners-up in each category.
The contestants will be adjudged by eminent musician Kalaimamani O S Arun and a panel of trained musicians.
