Obesity Coupled to High Health Risks and Birth Defects!
In this modern era, the obesity is one among the major life terrorizing health worries all over the world. Obesity is now common among both children’s and adults, who are care-free of detrimental food habits and not aware of suitable physical activities. Many recent studies revealed that, obesity allied to high health disorders and birth defects.
Women with obese beforehand or during pregnancy, are at higher series of peril to have major birth defects. Obesity during pregnancy has been coupled to an increase in health risks like brain, spinal cord, heart and gastro-intestinal birth defects. Researches confirmed that, the babies of obese women were inclined to have neural tube effect at the higher degrees than compared to the normal weight women.
The prime troubling aspect is that, the overweight women will give birth to overweight infant as well. Thus, obesity brings in high health threats and birth defects for both baby and mother.

Complications caused by Obesity during Pregnancy:
If women with overweight or obese, then they are at higher risk for complications. Infertility is the major crisis, where women are not able to get conceive at all. Obese women’s are at the ease of having miscarriage, i.e; the baby in the womb dies before the 20th week of pregnancy. Sometimes it results in Stillbirth, where the fetus dies after 20th week of pregnancy.
Some women’s are at the higher risk of having high blood pressure and diabetics, which will cause a serious life killing problems for both mom and baby. Having a jumbo baby, results in the need for cesarean section to safe guard the precious baby. Sometimes obese mom may result in preterm birth babies, where the baby needs incubation to survive.
Complications caused by Obese Mom for New Born Baby:
Though the overweight and obese mom tends to have normal baby birth, the baby will have some un-identified health risk which might get revealed at the later stage of their life. Neural tube defects are the major crisis nowadays which affects the baby’s brain and spine. Jumbo born babies are proven to be obese for life long and they have only shorter life period.
