ATM Centres to provided at 34 Chennai Metro Rail Stations!

ATM centres will be installed in 34 Chennai Metro Rail Stations including Koyambedu, Vadapalani, and Ashok Nagar.
Discussions are being held on the proposal to offer establishment of private shops, ATM centres, etc in the vacant areas in the Chennai Metro Rail Stations.
It has been decided to invite tenders for establishment of private shops.
An official from Chennai Metro Rail informed:
Approval will be granted for establishment various essential facilities like small shopping malls for the commuters.
In the 1st phase, tenders are to be invited for setting up shops in the 3000 sq metres area available in Koyambedu, Ashok Nagar, and Vadapalani Stations.
The maximum contract tenure for these shops will be 15 years.
Discussions have been undertaken with banks for setting up ATM centres in all Chennai Metro Rail Stations.
Depending on the growing commuter traffic, the possibility of setting up more than one ATM centre in each station will also be explored.
