Petrol price cut by Rs 2.41, diesel by Rs 2.25 from midnight

Following a dip in price of crude oil in the international market, India seems to heave a sigh of relief with a reduction in the rates of petrol and diesel.
Petrol and diesel price in Chennai are slashed by Rs 2.41 paise and Rs 2.25 paise respectively. Consequently, a litre of petrol will be priced Rs 67.01 and diesel Rs 56.84 which is likely to come into effect from the midnight of October 31.
