Few words from Shankar on ‘I’

Ever since the trailer of Shankar’s ‘I’ was launched, there have been expectations and guessing about the movie from all over. The movie is said to be of a very new genre for the director which is a romantic thriller.
Speaking about the film, director Shankar says the movie doesn’t have its base on Olympic games or corruption either. This will be an entirely different film which nobody else has tried till date. The director says that he received very good response for Vikram’s appearance in the trailer for which he is said to receive national award. Shankar points that he will be absolutely happy if he gets the award, but more than anything, it is the response from audience that matters most, he adds. Talking about the release of the film, he says the film will hit the screens for the eve of Diwali.
