Footage of Popeye the Sailor

Gearing back to our childhood days, we would never fail to remember Popeye the Sailor and especially its title song that makes us toot toot together with him all the time. His nemesis Bluto is unforgettable too.
Grandy Tartakovorvsky who directed the new animated Popeye film that is yet to get released gave a brief on what could possibly be expected from a little clip of footage. He says this is not a clip belonging to the movie, but it is just intended to give a glimpse or idea of what the movie is all about.
The footage is really eye-catchy, but misses in having three main elements in it:
1. Popeye always has a pipe in mount but never smoked
2. He has a can of spinach with him every time
3. He has tattoos on his arms portraying sailors
The footage however misses all the three. It is guessed that there may be some reason behind these missing elements.
