Separate lane for text message lovers

This digital era has equal amount of good and bad with it. While it is useful in multiple ways, it is dangerous in various aspects too. Over 80 per cent of the total population is engaged in using devices like smartphones, tablets, etc nowadays. They have in fact become a way of entertainment and tool for communication on the move.

Several mobile applications like WhatsApp, WeChat, Viber, Facebook Messenger, Google Hangout and more keeps people engaged in chatting through texts all the 24 * 7. These may be of great help in communication, but it is equally risky as it may keep you prone to accidents. According to reports of accidents in 2011, over 1152 individuals met with accidents due to distractions caused by these gadgets, especially by texting.

Interestingly and innovatively, China is a step ahead of others and have plans to facilitate text lovers. They have split their main roads into two divisions – a separate lave for those pedestrians who love text messaging and others who prefer to follow traffic rules.
