Sathyabama to host Technosummit ’14 from today

Sathyabama University will be hosting students from various colleges at Technosummit ’14, a three-day event aimed at providing them with a platform to showcase their technical skills.
Through the summit, the university is looking to help students of various disciplines improve their technical knowledge through a series of lectures from experts in the field and a chance to meet their peers, a release said.
Through the three days, there will be a number of competitions including spelling bee, parliamentary debate, prototype habitat, web design and robot racing.
P.V.R. Tata, professor and dean of academics, Homi Bhabha National Institute; S. Mohan, director, National Institute of Technical Teachers Training; and Sivasankaran, senior DGM and head (quality), Larson and Toubro Ltd, will be amongst the speakers at the function, the release said.
