Workshop on eye donation in Sankara Nethralaya on Sept. 6

Hari Narayanan (Member, Lions Club of Central Madras) in association with Sankara Nethralaya will conduct a ‘Corneal Transplantation’ workshop in the hospitals premises on Saturday, Sept. 6.
The workshop is being held to dispel the wrong notions about eye donation and spread awareness about its social importance and need.
The participants will be informed about the intricacies of the transplantation procedure with a visit to the eye bank.
The participants are expected to become vision ambassadors and spread the message of eye donation through their families, friends and colleagues.
