Ignored diabetes is fatal, doctors

According to doctors, it is always said that diabetes that is left undiagnosed is risky. A recently study however says that 7 out of 10 young diabetics between the age 20 and 24 do not take any necessary step to have their sugar level under control even after diagnosing it. This is said to be too risky, and at times, fatal too.
When the condition is left as it is, it may give rise to blindness, heart attack, renal failure or stroke. This has to be immediately resolved, say Dr. V. Mohan, the co-ordinator of the study by ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research).
