2 more hospitals in Chennai to have Amma Canteens!

Amma canteens will be shortly opned in Kilpauk Government Hospital and Royapuram RSRM Hospital.
200 Amma canteens were opened in Chennai as 1 canteen per corporation ward. The canteens were hugely successful and popular.
In order for the poor to benefit, it was decided to open 7 Amma Canteens in 7 government hospitals.
In the 1st stage, 3 Amma canteens started functioning at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital, Stanley Hospital, and Children’s hospital, Egmore.
Now, 2 more Amma canteens are set to be opened in Kilpauk government hospital & Royapuram RSRM Hospital. The arrangements are almost complete.
Further, Amma canteens are planned to be opened at Royappettah Government Hospital and Triplicane Kasturbha Gandhi mother-child health hospital, Construction activities have commenced.
