Home Needs Online Launches ‘Same Day Delivery’ in Chennai City

Home Needs Online, after the successful launch of its “At Home Service” earlier this year has now piloted its Same Day Delivery service, starting in Chennai city. The specialty e-store for home shopping has launched its ‘Same Day Delivery’ covering more than 100 pin codes over the Chennai city. This service is available for only selected product categories like Air conditioners, Refrigerators, Televisions, etc., as of now. All orders placed before 2 pm will be delivered by the evening before 10 pm, absolutely free of charge.
Initially, this service will be available for selected products across all small and major domestic appliances. In the launch phase itself, more than 500 SKUs will be covered under this service and the number may expand gradually. It is the only contemporary e-commerce player which has exclusively dedicated this express delivery initiative to the appliance category. The portal has gone an extra mile towards swift delivery commitment. Customers will no longer need to wait for extended periods of time for their home appliances to arrive. It will reduce timelines and enhance the overall shopping experience for the customers.
