Tourist visa-on-arrival facility to citizens of South Korea

Posted on: 21/Apr/2014 3:10:58 PM
The Government has extended tourist visa-on-arrival facility to citizens of South Korea, in an effort to increase people-to-people contact with that country.

Visa-on-arrival with a maximum validity of 30 days with single entry facility will be offered to South Korean tourists at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi airports at a fee of $60.

Tourists can also continue to obtain visas at the Embassy of India in Seoul prior to their travel to India, if they so prefer. This facility will not be applicable to holders of diplomatic and official passports whose travel will continue to be governed by existing agreements between the two countries.
