ROYAPETAH

Royapetah is a centrally located suburb in the city of Chennai. The city constitutes one of the four metropolitan cities of India and is the capital of Tamil Nadu state. Royapetah is situated a little west of the famous Marina Beach of Chennai. The locality features one of the developed commercial centres lying adjacent to the Chennai city center.

The locality houses Goudiya Math, an imposing temple structure that makes up one of the popular attractions in the region. Some other attractions located in the vicinity of Royapetah include Parthasarathy Temple and Aamir Mahal. Both of these attractions are housed in the adjacent Triplicane suburbs and at a walking distance from Royapetah.

Royapetah is provided with certain areas that are inhabited by people and thus form the residential places. Azad Nagar and Gopalapuram constitute the popular residential areas in the township. A number of hospitals and hotels provide services in these regions and beyond. Duraiswami Hospital and Forensic Medicine Hospital are popular institutes located here. Accommodation and catering facilities are provided by a number of budget hotels in the region.
